alo! oh for sure i would be into that. that is very generous of you. thanks! i have a lot of limitations on the packaging.

it has to be no larger than regular letter size. around 50g. waterproof. and protective of the garters hardware.

i know i could add more layers on top. prettier layers. it's really odd though, it makes me upset to have unnecessary packaging, but i do appreciate when i get pretty simple packaging from someone else.

oh and the cardboard i use is recycled and i buy new brown paper HUGE garden bags for the outer wrapping, but they are made from recycled paper. oh and tape!

and i don't make those criss cross shapes with the garters on the cardboard anymore. they are on top of eachother, clips side by side, straight across.

i'm sorry for this messy explanation, i hope it makes sense.

Ooh! I looked up the packaging on flickr - it's cute. If it's okay I would love to send you an email with a few ideas that would definitely work with your ethical stance :)

oh wow. these are all very beautiful. the packaging and especially the top of those thigh highs. i am so torn about packaging for my work. i am all serious about recycling and minimal packaging but i do want pretty presentation. strong too would be a factor. can i ask you what you think of this? for my garters i cut cardboard to size for each order. write a little thank you, draw a little swan, put the garters on it. and then place a little piece of bubble wrap over the hardware and wrap it with saran wrap! ha. tada? it looks a little cute but mostly practical. sigh. what to do?
