A perfect sunny Sunday afternoon hanging out with my girlfriends and going horseriding. If you’re near Auckland I highly recommend riding along beautiful Pakiri beach. It’s heavenly.

Kate: A few hours! At least one of those was spent trotting along the beach. We followed it up with ice-cream and a swim. Definitely fine for beginners – you gotta learn somewhere :) For example – I’m okay, my friend Alex had lessons as a kid and Charlotte hadn’t ridden before – they matched us with a horse to suit each individual, and give you tips along the way.
