So, I won a sweet little prize package to go to the New Zealand Music Awards! I went to the rehearsal, the show and enjoyed the opportunity of hanging out with one of my favourite bands, the Mint Chicks. They were really nice boys! Here they are practicing their rendition of She’s A Mod:
We played Beatles Rock Band, and I sucked at drums despite some expert coaching. Oh, also, there is now a 3 months supply of Vitaminwater in my life. V for Victory!
Also, an extra special treat – we got to see Ladyhawke perform twice! There was lots of super- happy fan-girl swooning on my behalf.
This week liquid eyeliner, big hair and I finally became BFFs. Believe it or not, I had always been a little scared of stabbing my eyeball out so never tried…
