- A great story about Pret-A-Manager. I don’t find it surprising at all – Pret is one of the best big chain brands I’ve come across.
- Someone (hi Sarah!) saw an entire post dedicated to Narwhals and thought of me. Swoony. I love those cute lil toothy sea creatures.
- LOOK AROUND YOU! is a series of brilliant educational video satires. Computer Games is genius.
- Writer/Director Toa Fraser is one of my heroes. The Big Idea has a fantastic interview with him on habits, breakfast and cultural connections.
- Check out Katie’s beautifully embroidered ‘Traveling Moleskine’ contribution. ‘The lyfe so short, the craft so long to lerne’.
- Paste up street art in Atlanta by the Paper Twins. Really fresh – check out the Paper Twins flickr too, with shots of the work in progress.
- Zoey Grossman’s photography is beautiful (and of hot girls).

Here’s some of the stuff I’ve been up to lately – diverse if nothing else:
- I wrote a review of Florence & The Machine’s debut album Lungs for Bullet Mag.
- NZgirl have been gracious enough to let me dish out some daily celeb goss (you may be surprised to learn I am all over that crap – yep, I loves it).
- Blogging daily for Pulp – a fantastic pop culture/fashion magazine from New Zealand.
- I shared one of my favourite childrens’ books at Books With Pictures… click through to find out what it is!

1) narwhal with donuts = big time awesome. 2) all that writing?! Go you!
Oh, Steven Kellogg, the staple of my young reading diet. I think my favorite book of his is still the Paul Bunyan story. :3
I recently saw a real Narwhal horn in a museum. It was amazing!
God Pret are so great, I used to work accross the road from them and because I bought sarnies every day they would give me free coffees and popcorn, everyone who works there seems lovely!
And I’m so with you on Hermes, the image of the girl on the sledge with a puppy in her tote is just adorable ;D
Awesome story about Pret. I love that chain even more now! Don’t worry, I’m all over the celeb crap too, to the constant chagrin of my dad (‘But, but, you have a LAW DEGREE!! How can you care about these people?!’) Haha!
