- We Make Words – a delightfully wordy photo blog.
- Interviews with the Munchkins, it’s the Mythical Movie of Oz – 70 years on!
- Loney, Dear’s Dear John is still the reigning soundtrack to all CFS productions this week. I dug up a mini video interview with him about the new album. (Please join me in sending him mental vibes that a tour to the Antipodes is the best idea ever.)
- Maria Kalman uses illustration to tell the charming, absorbing tale of Benjaminin Franklin.
- Tokyo Camera Style. I LOVE THIS, taking snaps of people’s cameras.
- 10 Fashionable Bikes for the ladies. Viva la cycling! I miss having my bike in town (it’s living at Omaha) but maybe that’s an excuse to get another one.
- “Dutch designer Wendy Plomp takes dismantled cardboard boxes and turns them into these fab creations. To be used as a rug, a piece of artwork, or for their originally intended use of storage – only prettier.” Continue reading Outside of the Box on my new bloggy favourite, Paper Planes.
- Hanneli has a very good eye for style (& is gorgeous).
- Stunning book sculptures.
- How To Fake A Holga Photograph. Use this step by step guide – or alternatively download this action (from another source) for an instant effect.
- Luxirare makes pie pops. Oh. Suck on that.
AMAZING book from 1977. Stay thin with the enticing "Wine & Eggs" diet!

Same, re Dear John. Is the best album to listen to whilst attempting to paint again, and I don’t have to skip a single track.♥
Bobby: Actually, yes, I’m with you.
Becca: Thanks, will do! xx
Sarah: I’m so glad you’re painting again. Any other ‘working’ soundtrack reccomendations?
Will see what I end up listening to and let you know!
