Short n’ sweet this week, my time on the net this week has been spent as a full on GEEK; learning about CSS and ninja wordpress skills. Yeah, that’s pretty damn cool too, but it might be a bit much to put all those glorious links here!

- Russia artist Francisco Infante Arana plays with perception (and tinfoil). Today and Tomorrow showcases his work.
- SwissMiss spotted an adorable Zoological typeface – I adore the Hippopotamus E!
- Cupcakes styled as fashion brands – Agent Provocateur is great! It’s be great to see other designers – how about a Karen Walker cupcake, complete with rad grape coloured glasses?
- The Guardian muses on the design evolution of classic objects… like the Queen’s hat.
- And on that posh note, inspect the Water Menu at Claridges – H2O is no longer a commodity. Naturally, New Zealand’s water comes out on top in the taste tests.
- Good read: a NYMag article on Swoon, a Brooklyn artist and boat builder. Swoon is leading a ‘waterborne invasion of the Venice Biennale’ with vessels made out of New York trash.
