Viewfinder: Animation Special

by Amber on May 8, 2009 in Notebook

As a kid, I pretty much watched animation exclusively! Sesame Street (as seen below) had some great segments, Dangermouse was devilish and I really liked Pingu.

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of great animation as well – I’m quite keen to make a stop motion short film. That means a lot of YouTube ‘research’, and this week I wanted to share with you a few of my favourites:

WESTERN SPAGHETTI

A WOLF LOVES PORK

HUMAN TETRIS

SESAME STREET – PINBALL

Song by the Pointer Sisters – Sesame Street was rocking way before Feist did her thing!

Wow that first one is amazingly cool. We had to make stop-motion animations in either 1st or 2nd year at art school, and it was so much fun! I did this sweet little one with a paper cup, pretty simple, but it looks so sweet when you get something finished!
