The Beautiful Word ads for Scrabble inspired me to invite friends over for a few rounds of ‘Literati’ (as the American hovering on the sideline deemed it) and Pimms…
It was tons of fun, I definitely need to add board games to the list of cheap or free things to do.

Scrabble is one of my favorite games! I am addicted to Lexulous on Scrabble. Does it annoy you, too, when people block up the game with dozens of 2-letter words, which stops you from being able to make any proper words anywhere? I have an aunt who does this ALL the time and it drives me nuts!
Leia: Yes, totally! Or imaginative spellers… I have a friend who makes up words constantly, THAT is annoying. He won’t back down either until you slap him with a dictionary.
Oh funny – sitting here reading my blog with my sister behind me – “That’s my choir music! What’s my choir music doing on someone’s blog?!” Hilarious.
Sarah: It was pretty!
ohh! what an intriguing vintage shop, where is it?
Celia: In Grey Lynn, Auckland. It’s at the top of Williamson Ave next to Occam. It’s really nice! I bought a cool checked boys jacket :)
Have I told you before that I love your blog? As I do, I do!
I’m terrible at Scrabble.
I usually barely break 90 points.
