- Tired of Poladroid? Never! Okay then… Perhaps I could tempt you with some miniature action? Seriously, try tilt-shifting today – it’s all the rage! I haven’t been so occupied by anything so fascinating for quite a while. If you’d prefer to do the hard yards yourself, check out this photoshop tutorial.

- Need an aural kick in the pants? Listen to Joe’s Waltz, by The Dodos. It teases and it snakes before finally becoming a rollicking, romping, stomping song.
- I’m really enjoying Jody Rogac‘s photography; it makes me wistful for wild places I’ve never been. The polaroids are particularly evocative, and her blog, with outtakes and snippets of life, is lovely too.
- Hello world! I am off on a wee trip soon, so I have been doing a bit of research on all things globally adventurous! Fun things I’ve found so far include the NY Times Frugal Traveler blog, a collection of ice palaces and the best things to do in Shanghai. There is also the amazing Travel Film Archive – “a collection of travelogues and educational and industrial films… that show the world the way it was between 1900 and 1970″. A lot of the films are silent, so put on some jaunty music and enjoy!
- The Origami Club gives you detailed instructions for anything you care to fold. Super cute!
