The last time I did a display investigation was in October , so it’s about time for a Decemberist shop window survey of Ponsonby Road, AKL. Things are a bit low key here but there’s still some cuteness to be seen!
From top to bottom: Mason’s Men’s Store, Mei Mei, Widdess (with the cute lil knitted puddings), Jamie Boutique (book list to die for) and World Beauty (lights & giant letters ❤). Just a little touch of Christmas – but these are boutiques not huge over-the-top department stores. Um and I just had to show you those shoes even though there are no holiday decorations at all! Silver boots count as festive though, right?
Further afield, Fred Flare has a photo tour of NYC’s store windows – screaming CHRISTMAS! What are the window displays like in your ‘hood?

I love the shot of Jaime’s boutique! All that red is fantastic.
Ooh I love them all, this really makes me want to go shopping!
I love the polka-dotted dress and the chandelier. I saw that Fred Flare post recently, and the Tiffany window looks amazing, I should go take a look. Also check out this beuatiful Bergdorf angle from Gothamist: http://gothamist.com//attachments/arts_jen/bergdorf12085.jpg – makes me want to eat everything in there!
Bergdorf. Ah. My gosh. I want magical winter monkeys to do my bidding.
Love the contrast of the chandelier and the tacky Santa figurine…
