This weekend involved resting my poor shoulders after they were needled for a few hours, enjoying the beautiful flowers my mother sent me, having coffee x 2, watching a colourful parade pass in town and general relaxation. There was plenty of sunshine in the mix too!
I also stopped in at a book store and bought a 2009 moleskine to geekily plan out my objectives for the next year. Haha, I am such strategist, right down to my language. Anyway, the majority of it was very restful!
How was your weekend? What was the most inspiring thing you saw?

Oh your tattoos look amaaaazing. So much better now that they’re not all bloody!
The tattoo looks lovely! That coffee photo has just made me send the other half to make me one!
The tattoo is amazing….really beautiful up close…
LOVE the tattoo. Just beautiful.
Inspirational… went to Rockefeller Center last night, even though it was -4°C. I had never seen “the tree” before. Warm despite the horrid temperature :)
Tattoos: Finally! They look awesome. I think I finally have got something planned too.
Flat White: God Damn I miss these.
Parade: It’s our year, baby!
As for the weekend. The best thing I did was go to a 100+ person fondue party in the countryside near Zurich. So. Much. Cheese.
Thank you all for the kind words vis-à-vis my tattoos! You’ll be delighted to know they are itchy as anything now ;) A few more weeks for healing & they’ll be dandy.
Johanna: I loved your photos on flickr – I wish I lived in a city that gets into the spirit like that. Oh, I get shivers from imaging a NYC Christmas.
Laza: Wow, it must make fondue in Cheltenham seem infinitesimal! See that mention of a diary up there? I am booking you in for some partying.
I can totally relate to your comment on the moleskines.. I think I buy a new one every month with the idea of plotting out everything I want to do. It never quite comes together though!
I’m ready to party when you are! 2009 Moleskin FTW I think. Is 2009 the year of the dream journal?
Your tattoo is gorgeous, my grandmother used to have Hydrangea’s all through her garden, I love those flowers. Tattoo perfection.
